St. Mary's church contains 6 bells.  The original bells were cast in 1729 and three of the original bells  remain in use.  All bells were cast at the  Mears and Stainbank Whitechapel foundry in east London.

In 1923 the tenor and original 3rd were recast and a new treble was added.  The old bells were quarter turned and the peal was tuned and rehung with new fittings in a steel framework.

In September 2006 ringing was stopped due to cracked bearings on the third and fourth bells.  A survey by the Whitechapel bell foundry recommended that all the bearings should be replaced with a stronger type.  This work was authorised and the work undertaken to replace the mounting plates, securing bolts and all bearings was started in December 2006 and completed in January 2007.    The work was completed by Whitechapel with assistance from members of the local band and the Surrey Association.
